Enjoy A Much Needed Laugh With This Hilarious Ghost Hunting Sketch

by paranormalwarehouse

The crew over at Corridor Digital just released a hilarious sketch poking some fun at the ghost hunting community. Known for their high-quality special effects, Corridor tells the tale of a pair of ghost hunters who get a bit more than they bargained for. The sketch opens with the pair interviewing a man who witnessed some paranormal activity in an abandoned tunnel. First looking like a professional set-up, the two investigators soon display they are more like squabbling married couples than professionals.

I Still Jumped

Upon entering the cave, the two do indeed encounter a ghoul that, for whatever reason, is not a fan of flashlights. The situation quickly turns sour, forcing one of the team members to take drastic measures to save his buddy. I won’t get into too much detail, but you should definitely check out the video below for some solid laughs.

We Need To Joke Around Sometimes

After watching the video, it made me think of the state of our paranormal community and how laughter is desperately in need. This may be my own experience, but I feel that not only is joking around about the field is taboo, but it is also straight-up looked down upon.

Rather than get “butthurt” at everyone’s comments about your evidence or team glamor shot, I think we should learn to laugh some of these things off and bring a little light-heartedness into what we love doing. I agree death is not always something to laugh at, but when it is something we are all inevitably going to face, I think we should all take some time to laugh at how we are all at one point or another screwed.
